IBM is "full steam ahead" on blockchain despite 1,700 other layoffs
Out of IBM's 1,700 job losses this month, only a “very, very tiny percentage” affected it blockchain division, according to CoinTelegraph and reporting by The Block reported. Jerry Cuomo, the vice president of IBM Blockchain Technology, said IBM is prioritizing blockchain skills when making hiring and firing decisions. He added it was “full steam ahead” for his department.
