Oh, I love this quote by Warren Buffett.
“Forecasts usually tell us more of the forecaster than of the future.”
By now you have probably heard gazillions of predictions on how the world will be different after the pandemic. But frankly, a lot of these are “wishes”, rather than “predictions”.
No airline executive would publicly predict slow tourism recovery and permanent transition to remote work.
Personally, I predict (wish) that remote work will become the norm because I prefer communicating with people in writing than talking face-to-face.
But today I’d like to describe a few scenarios that I don’t necessarily wish for, but have good reasons to believe will happen.
At the moment, these theses seem to be non-consensus. This means more likely than not I’ll be wrong, but I hope they’ll help you see different perspectives.
Cities (vs. suburbs) will thrive.
