🚗 GM, BMW back blockchain data sharing for self-driving cars
Blockchain data is hitting the streets with the newest shared data effort among General Motors and BMW in a push to speed up self-driving car production. The Mobility Open Blockchain Initiative (MOBI), a consortium which launched last year, will be led by the GM and joined by BMW whose executives have expressed enthusiasm of sharing siloed data to jump start self-driving cars.
