⛏️ Genesis Mining forces customers to upgrade to new contracts

Cloud mining provider Genesis Mining has started contacting some clients telling them they must upgrade to a five-year premium plan or they will lose service. The company offers the ability for subscribers to earn income from mining operations hosted by Genesis but the recent drop in bitcoin ($BTC) prices has caused the company to operate at a loss on some contracts. In June another cloud miner, Hashflare, announced it was shutting down bitcoin mining operations due to 28 consecutive days of unprofitable mining.
