📝 Gemini crypto exchange undergoes security compliance and data protection audit
Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, founded by the Winklesvoss twins, has completed a self-elected Service Organizational Control 2 Type 1 compliance review. The review was conducted by big four accounting firm Deloitte and examined Gemini's infrastructure, database, and storage systems. Gemini is the first cryptocurrency exchange to undergo such a review and plans a follow up, SOC 2 Type 2, later this year.
