According to a CoinDesk report Web3 Foundation executive Ryan Zurrer is leaving the project to start a new decentralized autonomous organization similar to the infamous DAO that caused the Ethereum fork in 2016. Zurrer's new DAO will draw from ideas like the DAICO and aims to achieve the goals of the original DAO in allowing users to get in and out of the investment at any time. Some new features will include checks and balances that will require multi-signature approval from different groups like the venture, treasury, dev, and compliance divisions.
