Former Mt Gox CEO registers new blockchain cloud project in Japan
CEO of the former Bitcoin ($BTC) exchange Mt Gox Mark Karpeles is launching a blockchain cloud company in Japan called Tristan Technologies Co. Karpeles was cleared of fraud and embezzlement charges in March and is appealing a charge of tampering with records. If the appeal fails, Karpeles faces up to ten years in prison.
