🗻 Former Mt. Gox CEO Mark Karpeles rejects Brock Pierce’s plans to reboot exchange
Brock Pierce of Block.one had his plan to resurrect defunct crypto exchange Mt. Gox, GoxRising, rejected by Ex-CEO Mark Karpeles. Pierce believes recovery of assets can be expedited by re-upping the exchange, moving the process forward from three to five under a Japanese court appointed trustee to one year. Pierce claims he needs half of the 24,000 Mt. Gox creditors in order to reboot the exchange, but Karpeles challenged his legal legitimacy to undertake such actions.
