Flow Joins the Messari Registry

We’re excited to announce that Flow has joined the Messari Registry. As a participating project, Dapper Labs has committed to transparency by providing regular project updates.

Flow is a blockchain created by Dapper Labs that aims to make it easy for developers to build decentralized applications and businesses. Dapper Labs is the creator of CryptoKitties which is one of the industry’s leading non-fungible token projects.

The team at Dapper Labs recently launched the public beta of NBA Top Shot, which is an NBA collectibles game built on top of the Flow blockchain. The Flow blockchain is architected to support small, frequent transactions that gaming and other projects using non-fungible tokens require.

The FLOW token (“FLOW” or “𝔽”) is the native currency for the Flow network. Flow recently concluded its community sale on Oct 2, 2020, and conducted another token sale via a live auction on Oct 6, 2020 at noon UTC.

NBA Top Shot aims to be a mainstream consumer application for non-crypto natives. Flow has entered into an exclusive partnership with NBA and has received funding from several high profile NBA players like The Brooklyn Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie and Garrett Temple, the Miami Heat's Andre Iguodala, Los Angeles Lakers' JaVale McGee, and Aaron Gordon from the Orlando Magic.
