🚀 Fidelity vets launch $30 million fund focused on crypto infrastructure

Matt Walsh and Nic Carter, who were previously responsible for blockchain and cryptoasset research at investment management firm Fidelity, have left to launch a new crypto fund. Castle Island Ventures has raised $30 million to invest in new projects. While the fund has the ability to hold various cryptoassets, it will focus on equity investments in companies building infrastructure like user interfaces, software for managing custody of digital assets, and other platforms that will support the crypto economy.
