Fidelity’s crypto arm has officially applied to operate in New York as a trust

Fidelity Digital Assets, the cryptoasset arm of investment manager Fidelity, has applied for a New York trust license according to The Block. Compared to a BitLicense a trust license would allow Fidelity to offer a wider range of services, such as financial advice in the state. According to a prior interview with The Block lawyer Arthur Long noted that the approval process often takes half a year.
