📄 FCA grants third e-money license to crypto payment company
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), which is responsible for financial regulation in the U.K., has issued its third e-money license to a crypto company. Wirex, the recipient of the license is a debit card based payment platform for cryptoassets. Other firms in the space have applied for the FCA's sandbox program which aims to allow for innovative fintech development within a protected testing environment that eases strict regulatory requirements
