Facebook to launch Libra Blockchain testnet next week, backed by Libra Reserve
Facebook is set to launch both the Libra Association and the Libra Blockchain testnet this week, open-sourced under Apache 2.0 license. The Libra Reserve will back the payment network with baskets of currencies and nodes run by sponsoring firms such as MasterCard, Visa, PayPal, and others. Facebook plans to launch the full network in 2020.
