European authorities arrest 6 allegedly involved in $27 million crypto theft
Five men and one woman were arrested in the UK and Netherlands this past week following a 14 month investigation by a number of European authorities. The hackers stole an estimated $27 million in crypto, mainly targeting Bitcoin ($BTC) assets. Officials estimated 4,000 victims were hit in 12 countries using URL hijacking.
