Parity Technologies has launched the beta version of a tool that allows users to create flexible blockchains with the ability to create unique consensus mechanisms or utilize existing algorithms. The new tool, Substrate, is integrated with the firm’s blockchain interoperability protocol Polkadot and is written in the programming language Rust, while a JavaScript implementation can run in web browsers.
