After developers confirmed expectations for a November release of Constantinople on Friday, Ethereum's main test network, Ropsten, ran into a standstill on Saturday. The Constantinople hard fork was set to be activated on Ropsten at block number 4,230,000, but block creation was stalled at 4,299,999 due to a lack of miners upgrading their clients on the network. In response, Afri Shoedon, release manager of Parity Technologies, tweeted, “no Constantinople in 2018, we have to investigate.”
