⚡ Ethereum-inspired web standard for Lightning is taking off
A new open source Lightning Network payment standard, WebLN, inspired by similar Ethereum ($ETH) products like MyEtherWallet, is taking off. The standard integrates Bitcoin's ($BTC) Lightning payment system into web browsers like Chrome and is already being used by Lightning Joule and Bluewallet. Developer William O’Beirne is in talks with similar services Casa and Bitsum.
