Ethereum Foundation update details role in ecosystem and funding plans for year ahead
The Ethereum Foundation released an ecosystem update, detailing its funding uses from the last year and plans for the next 12 months of projects. Holding 0.6% of circulating Ether ($ETH) valued at $164 million plus cash reserves, the EF is dedicating $30 million toward keystone projects this coming year with $19 million toward ETH 2.0, $8 million for ETH 1.0, and $3 million for education and community development.
