Ethereum coders approve six changes for upcoming Istanbul hard fork
All six code changes expected in Ethereum's ($ETH) Istanbul hard fork have been finalized. The fork will be rolled out in two phases with the first step, which implements the new Ethereum improvement proposals (EIPs), coming in October. Phase two, which could include a new mining algorithm called Programmatic Proof-of-Work (ProgPoW) is expected early next year.
