👩💻 Ethereum chat startup Status lays off 25% of staff
Status.im, an Ethereum ($ETH) based mobile browser and chat application, will lay off around a quarter of its staff amid declining crypto markets. The 25 individuals laid off in the announcement were considered "non-essential" to the long-term goals of the project. Status originally raised 182,000 ETH worth approximately $64 million in a token sale last year.
