😞 E-Commerce giant DMM quits cryptocurrency mining business
Japanese e-commerce giant DMM is closing shop on its mining businesses less than a year after setting up shop. DMM once aspired to top three in the mining business, but recent cryptocurrency price movements have made it untenable. As of Dec. 25th, DMM also announced dropping the launch of a new trading platform, Cointap, to focus on its main exchange, DMM Bitcoin.
