🗻 Digital Garage to test yen-pegged stablecoin on Blockstream Network
Internet context company Digital Garage is teaming with Bitcoin ($BTC) infrastructure startup Blockstream to launch a trial run of a yen backed stablecoin. Digital Garage subsidiary Crypto Garage says the yen-stablecoin will trade on Blockstream's Liquid network against Liquid's Bitcoin pegged token, Liquid Bitcoin (L-BTC). Although only slated to last the year, this is the first proof-of-concept trial to be managed by Japanese regulators.
