🏦 Crypto exchanges hiring Wall Street vets to grow institutional sales

Frank Chaparro of Business Insider reports that BitMEX has recently hired Amy Yu, who previously worked in sales for synthetic products at JPMorgan, to head up their institutional sales team. Coinbase also hired an ex-Wall Streeter, Lauren Abendschein, from Credit Suisse as a manager for institutional sales. Abendschein previously worked in the prime services group at Credit Suisse, which provides various services to hedge funds that trade with the firm, and will help Coinbase launch its own prime service aimed at luring more institutions to the platform.
