👮 Crypto exchange executives charged for accepting bribes

Two executives from South Korean crypto exchange Coinnest have been indicted for allegedly accepting a bribe related to a token listing. The Seoul Southern District Public Prosecutors’ Office claims the CEO and COO of Coinnest hastened the listing process and failed to conduct a proper technical review before listing a new token called S Coin. In return, the individuals each received a combination of Bitcoin ($BTC) and S Coin worth approximately $860,000 from the issuer.
