⏱ Crypto data site CoinMarketCap launches "more robust" API
CoinMarketCap has announced a new pro-level and fee-based API. While there is already a public API by CoinMarketCap, the new API will provide "additional endpoints, more calls, higher rate limits, exchange and market and historical data for the commercial tiers," according to an email response to CoinDesk from Carylyne Chan, vice president of marketing at CoinMarketCap. In addition to the API, other features will be added to CoinMarketCap, including data from derivatives markets, a new exchange ranking system, a daily newsletter, and an update to its iOS app.
