According to a study by US-based law firm Foley & Lardner that surveyed investors, business executives, lawyers, consultants, developers, and other professionals, the vast majority of respondents desired for greater regulatory clarity. 84% of the respondents believed that ICOs should be regulated by the federal government or states, and 86% of the respondents believe that the industry should begin self-policing through formalized self-regulation standards.
