🤝 Crypto.com nets ex-PayPal exec to increase merchant cryptocurrency adoption
Payments focused crypto project Crypto.com ($MCO) has hired Tyson Hackwood, formerly the Australian head of PayPal's point-of-sale division, as senior vice president and head of global merchant acquisition. Hackwood is expected to focus on increasing merchant adoption for cryptoassets and the Crypto.com product. Crypto.com previously operated under the name Monaco before rebranding and purchasing the crypto.com domain for a reported $10 million in July.
