🔨 Company settles unregistered ICO charges after self-reporting to SEC

The SEC has charged ICO Gladius with conducting an unregistered securities offering after the project's self-report to the regulator. Gladius, a service for renting spare computer bandwidth failed to register or seek an exemption for their 2017 token offering, according to the SEC. The regulator did not impose a penalty because the company self-reported the conduct, agreed to compensate investors, and will register the tokens as a class of securities.
