Ivan Duque, Colombia’s president, announced a new tax proposal to entice crypto companies to set up shop in the country at the International Congress on Information and Communication Technologies. The offer promises to exempt crypto companies from income tax for five years. The sole requirement is that these companies hire some of Colombia’s citizens.
