📊 CoinMarketCap addresses volume data concerns
In a blog post announcement yesterday, CoinMarketCap addresses the concerns around exchanges volume and rankings, which have skewed the data on the site. Namely, the three concerns are: fee-free/transaction mining models, low fee models, and artificial volumes/ wash trading. As a result, CoinMarketCap removed the volume requirement for exchanges this week and will be extending new metrics for evaluation.
