⚡ CoinGate adds support for Litecoin (LTC) Lightning Network payments
The Litecoin ($LTC) Lighting Network (LN) gained support from Lithuanian-based CoinGate, opening up the network to 4,500 merchants who use the platform. Like the Bitcoin ($BTC) LN, the Litecoin Lightning Protocol is a Layer 2 application on top of the Litecoin state allowing for quick transactions and near zero fees. As of now, it has a 88.49 Litecoin capacity with 795 channels and 139 nodes.
