🌊 Circle’s OTC crypto trading desk saw $24 billion in volume in 2018
Global crypto finance company Circle facilitated some $24 billion in trade volume via their over the counter (OTC) trading facilitator, Circle Trade, in 2018. Circle Trade executed over 10,000 trades between 600 parties over 36 different assets. Overall, the company claimed it was now serving over 8 million customers in 195 countries, and facilitated $75 billion in 2018 transactions. Its product suite expanded from its core legacy products Circle Pay and the OTC desk, to include the newly integrated $400 million Poloniex acquisition, retail investment tool Circle Invest, and regulated stablecoin USDC.
