⚡️ Blockstream's Lightning Network implementation reaches beta
Blockstream announced its 0.6 release of c-lightning, its Lightning Network implementation. The new architecture is designed to be more modular and extensible, and some of its new features include lightweight nodes, the gossip protocol, API stability, wallet and sync features, TOR support, payment logic, and increased performance. This update is particularly important for low-powered devices and smartphones since it reduces energy and bandwidth consumption.
