Blockstream developer finds Lightning Network security vulnerabilities
Rusty Russell, a Bitcoin developer from Blockstream, tweeted on Friday about some security issues that have been discovered "in various lightning projects" which could cause loss of funds. Lightning Network is a scaling protocol for Bitcoin and other proof-of-work blockchains. Russell did not provide specific details on the vulnerabilities, but he added more information will be published in four weeks.
