BlockFi lowers interest rates on ether deposits under 100 ETH by near half
BlockFi is slashing Ethereum ($ETH) interest rates after June 1st in response to less interest compared to rival crypto Bitcoin ($BTC). Rates for deposits of 25 ETH to 100 ETH will drop from 6.2% to 3.25% APY with deposits over 100 ETH earning 0.2% APY. BlockFi pointed to rivals like Poloniex and Compound who offer rates as low as 0.01% for ETH deposits.
