Blockchain startups RepuX and JoyToken have closed their offices and seemingly conned investors out of $4.7 million and $3.3 million, respectively, according to an investigation by The Next Web's Hard Fork. RepuX claimed that it would build a “blockchain-powered data marketplace,” and JoyToken claimed to build a decentralized gambling platform. The two startups shared numerous connections, advisors, and marketing partners, The Next Web reports.
