Peer to peer company BitTorrent Inc. has officially announced that it is acquired by TRON ($TRX). In their blog, BitTorrent confirmed the acquisition (reportedly worth $140 million) and announced that it will continue operating from TRON's new SF location, which is now the center of operations for the company's global market expansion.
