👛 BitTorrent is launching its own cryptocurrency on the Tron network
BitTorrent, the peer-to-peer internet file sharing service, is launching its own cryptocurrency, the BitTorrent Token (BTT). BTT will run on the tron protocal, as Tron purchased BitTorrent last June. BitTorrent hopes to capitalize on its claimed 100 million users and believes a BitTorrent specific token will better overall user experience, particularly download times. 990 billion BTT will be minted and distributed via both airdrops and Binance Launchpad.
