🐜 Bitmain files IPO prospectus in Hong Kong
Crypto mining giant Bitmain has officially filed paperwork that will allow it to go public on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. According to the documents, the firm made a total of $2.52 billion in revenue during 2017, representing a significant increase from the $277.6 million in revenue it generated over the course of 2016. Gross profit reached $1.21 billion last year, up again dramatically from $151.4 million during 2016.
