Cryptocurrency mining giant Bitmain's IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange has officially expired six months after its initial application. The knock comes at the tail end of a rocky 2018 and puts into doubt if the company will re-up its application due to required H2 2018 financial disclosures. Bitmain was hedging future growth on the IPO, hiring both a new CEO and planning on raising some $18 billion.
