⚡ Bitfury brings Lightning Network payments to the first Bitcoin exchange

Bitfury's Lightening Peach has teamed up with cryptocurrency exchange BTCBIT to bring Lightning Network capabilities to the exchange. Lightning Network is a secondary layer protocol on the Bitcoin ($BTC) state which allows for quick, non-blockchain recorded transactions through a Lightning tunnel. BTCBIT will use the new technology to quicken transactions for customers, although fiat on-and-off ramping via the SWIFT and SEPA systems is proving to slow the overall transaction rate considerably.
