🧐 Bitfinex is planning to issue an exchange token, shareholder says
Over-the-counter trader and Bitfinex stake holder Dong Zhao has confirmed speculations of a Bitfinex initial exchange token offering, according to CoinDesk. Zhao, who claims to have inspired potential Bitfinex's token offering, says the exchange is still mulling the details such as issuance. Zhao first confirmed the announcement on Weibo which comes on the heels of the NY AG's allegations claiming the exchange lost $850 million and purposefully covered the losses with Tether ($USDT) funds.
