🐘 Bitcoin exchange Paxful sees 20% 2018 growth, driven by Africa
Cryptocurrency exchange Paxful is surging thanks to African adoption. In 2018, 41 percent of new users on Paxful were African. Paxful saw a 130 percent volume rise since July 2018, averaging $21 million volume per week, compared to $8.5 million in 2017. Remittances between countries, particularly between Ghana and Nigeria, are a key use for cryptocurrency adoption.
