👀 Bitcoin Anonymity Guide for 2019 (Removed from Medium)
A Bitcoiner using the pseudonym "mintycosta" published a guide to transacting with bitcoin and maximizing for user privacy by using a variety of tools and technologies available in 2019. The author explains that this guide was removed by Medium and their account was suspended, leading to the re-post on a private website. Among other things, the author recommends::
"Never, ever use any service that requires AML/KYC. This is how law enforcement ties your real name to your Bitcoin address, exchanges are more than happy to cooperate."
"If you buy or sell Bitcoin from an exchange which has all your AML/KYC information you must anonymize your coins."
"Use an anonymity network or VPN like Torguard."
