Binance announced that it will re-enable deposits and withdrawals for its online exchange one week after a hack that resulted in the loss of $41 million worth of bitcoin. Since the hack, Binance has fielded questions openly on Twitter and worked to upgrade its security system saying that it was making "significant changes to the API, 2FA, and withdrawal validation areas, which was an area exploited by hackers during [the hack]."
The stolen bitcoin remains consolidated in just seven addresses, The Block reports.
