Belfast launches own cryptocurrency to boost Rockefeller social project success

The city of Belfast will be issued its own cryptocurrency as part of its participation in the Rockefeller Foundation's 100 Resilient Cities initiative. The coin will be issued by Israeli company Colu, which has coins in London, Liverpool and Israel. Its Israeli-based coin saw a 25% participation rate in Tel Aviv, a city of almost 500,000. The coin will be mostly used for local businesses.
