Beam Foundation donates $10,000 to Grin++ security audit

The Beam Foundation, the non-profit organization responsible for the development and deployment of the Beam protocol, donated 10,000 $BEAM (roughly $10,000) toward the security audit of the Grin ($GRIN) protocol's re-write in C++, called Grin++. In an AMA with Messari, Beam CEO Alexander Zaidelson described the Grin protocol as "friendly competition." CTO Alex Romanov added:

"We have very good relationships with grin devs, we learn a lot from each other since we often have similar problems."
