Ballyhooed Bitcoin Futures contract bows out with a whimper
The final Cboe Bitcoin ($BTC) futures contract is set to expire Wednesday, June 19th. The first Cboe Bitcoin futures contract was launched 18 months ago by former President Chris Concannon, the first U.S. exchange to list Bitcoin futures. Rival exchange CME Group has seen its Bitcoin futures contracts explode over the last month, this last month being the best ever since opening contracts in 2017, according to The Block.
