🤝 Bakkt and ErisX staff up as institutional crypto gets ready to hit Wall Street
Intercontinental Exchange’s (ICE) Bakkt and ErisX, a Chicago-based firm, are building out their teams by making big hires. Former Coinbase VP Adam White recently joined Bakkt as COO, as did Brian Cooper, a 10-year ICE veteran, as director of operations, and financial sales representative Laura Edelman, who will be working on the futures product. ErisX recruited CME Group veteran Kelly Brown as chief commercial officer; Liz James as head of clearing; and former ScotiaBank director Michael Piracci as senior counsel.
