Bitcoin ($BTC) futures exchange Bakkt is achieving regulatory compliance through acquisition and integration, as the firm has picked up Digital Asset Custody Company (DACC) according to a Medium post by Bakkt COO Adam White. Bakkt is currently building out its consumer custody service and is seeking a NY BitLicense to clear regulatory hurdles before it launches. DACC brings support of over 100 assets and 13 blockchains to jumpstart Bakkt's custody service, with DACC co-founder Matthew Johnson saying the team is excited to join a company with similar values and vision.
